The motion detection does not work when using the “periodically” frequency for detection. When using “frequent”, it works just fine. Periodically is supposed to have a cool down after motion is detected to help save battery, but we notice it never detected motion when in this setting and this is very concerning as it is the setting we would prefer to use. Is this a bug?
Hi @DinDJarJarin. Your camera should detect motion with any of the Motion Frequency settings. Depending on the setting you’ve selected, there will be a short dwell time in between recordings. With the “Frequent” setting, there is no dwell time between recordings. This Community post here has great information on Motion Frequency. I hope this helps!
