Spotlight cam - solar connected but not showing on settings

We installed both same day. Initially we could see the sun icon confirming that solar was charging. After a few days didn’t show anymore. It drained battery to about 40%. Took it all down. Deleted the spotlight cam from account and started again from step 1 including charging battery to 100% again before reinstalling. No luck. Not showing solar icon. Yes we checked plugs. Yes we reset using button on top. Yes we cleaned solar panel. Any other suggestions or is it just a piece of crap and we should send it back ?
