Spotlight cam pro no power

I had a replacement spotlight cam pro sent out to me as no power was going to the camera (plug in camera) and this one also does not seem to work either. It seems it's a problem with the leads/ power adaptors supplied as I have plugged it into another USB C power adaptor and it comes on like wise it works with battery. It seems to me by reading on the ring community this camera is problematic (this is the 3rd one I've had) anyone else had similar issues?
