Spotlight Cam Pro connected but not charging from solar

I have several of the newst spotlight cam pro. 4 work flawlessly with solar. 2 don’t. these two cameras are <6 months old. I have tried connecting them with brand new ring solar panels and they just don’t work. They show connected in the app but do not change to green 'charging, don’t charge and the batteries run down to zero. I live in western australia, the solar panels get around 10 hours of usable sunlight every single day. I have rebooted, reset the camera and added to my account again. i don’t know what else to do. At the moment two very expenseive pieces of plastic - my original or 2dn gen camera works better. Help!
