Spotlight cam pro battery not offering solar option on setup
I have a battery in the cam and also a solar panel plugged in however it only gives options of hard wire or battery on setup but if I choose battery the solar panel is “ not connected” in the app.
I’ve removed the cam and set up a few times now with battery and solar connections but still cannot get the cam to see it has a solar panel plugged in

Edit: I tried remove and add cam again as I read this ;
Open the app, and go to “devices” and select “add device”- This is the important part… You need to select Spotlight cam Solar from the list, so that it installs the correct firmware during setup.

There is no option to select “ spotlight cam solar “ from the list: :thinking:

Hi @Damixa. You should be prompted to scan the QR code when setting up a new device, including the Spotlight Cam Pro. Additionally, the Spotlight Cam Solar is the same as the Spotlight Cam Battery, just with a Solar Panel connected to it. We have some information and troubleshooting steps for the Solar Panel here which may help. I also recommend ensuring your Ring app is fully updated, and the Solar Panel is firmly connected to the Camera.
