My hardwired spotlight cam plus will not stay connected to the wifi. It was working fine since we installed it 2 months ago but for the last week it will not connect. I did a complete reboot and reconnect last night and it connected for 1 minute and then went off line again. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem and if it possibly has to do with any recent updates. Mine went offline on 5/11.
Hi @bsw10167. Do you have a dual-band router? The Spotlight Cam Plus is only compatible with 2.4GHz networks, so occasionally dual-band networks can cause some connectivity issues. If so, try creating a guest network on your router using only the 2.4GHz, then connect the Spotlight Cam to it. I’d also recommend reviewing your network settings to see if anything has changed that might be impacting the connection on the Spotlight Cam. This could include the ports and protocols, as well as firewall or security settings.
