Ring Spotlight Cam (first generation) purchased in 2019 with second battery.
Yesterday, the cam went offline. Device Health showed WiFi connection lost. Pulled batteries and fully charged them. Reconnected WiFi.
Checked Device Health again. Left Battery at 99% but Right Battery showed “Add a Battery.” Swapped batteries and reset the cam. Same result.
Finally, I performed a factory reset and reinstalled the cam. Device Health battery status remains unchanged but Solar Status now says “Connected” and Product Name has changed to “Spotlight Cam Solar.”
No solar panel connected to this cam. Can the problem be fixed or have we reached EOL for the first generation Ring Spotlight Cam?
