My Spotlight Cam Battery came in before the Super Solar Panel did so I went ahead and installed it as a Spotlight Cam Battery and mounted the Spotlight Cam and got it working. When the solar panel and the extra battery came in, I installed them and tried to get the cam to recognize the solar panel. The Spotlight Cam recognized the extra battery but it wouldn’t recognize the solar panel. I gave up after dark and tried it again the next day when the solar panel was in the direct sun. I unplugged the solar panel and plugged it back in. The Spotlight Cam finally recognized the solar panel but now it said it did not have a battery in the left side and the right battery dropped from 100% to 86%. It also said the solar panel did not have full sun and was charging slow even though it was in the direct sun.
I decided to uninstall the Spotlight Cam and re-installed it as a Spotlight Cam Solar. When the install completed everything started working like it was supposed to. The Cam recognized both batteries and the solar panel. If you have a Spotlight Cam installed before installing a solar panel and you are having problems try uninstalling the Spotlight Cam and re-install it as a Spotlight Cam Solar. Be sure the solar panel is plugged in to the Cam before you start the install.
