SpotCam w/ battery not recognizing 4W solar panel. No SpotCam with Solar option as new device

Hi - need help in getting my SpotCam to read my new 4W solar panel. Works fine on another camera. I tried to reset to factory settings and rebooting per prior posts. Also, when selecting to “Set Up a Device” and selecting “Security Cams”, it goes directly to QR scanner and not a menu of options to select Camera with Solar, as previously stated. Help!

Hi @user80384 There is no specific solar option when setting up a Spotlight Cam in the Ring app, it would be the Spotlight Cam Battery. The Ring Solar Panel requires at least 3-4 hours of direct sunlight per day in order to provide a trickle charge to the camera’s battery.
