Sometimes our camera doesn't record or notify us of movement


We’ve had our Ring Peephole cam for three years and it has always worked fine. Now, suddenly, it’s very erratic. It sometimes fails to record deliveries and other movements. The battery is charged and the WIFI signal strength is 59, which I understand is very good. What can be causing such inconsistent behavior?


Hi @user50936. An RSSI of -59 is not very good. Rather, it is close to being out of the usable range. You can find more information here. I would suggest rebooting your device, which can be done in the Device Health menu of the Ring app. Let me know if this helps.
