I have my Video Doorbell hardwired and have a signal stregnth of RSSI-54… however after 48-72 hours the connection fails and I can no longer see any video feeds and when I look at the device it is a solid white ring and has a slight buzzing. To fix it I have to take it off the hook, and reset the wifi and it works again for 48-72 hours and stalls again.
Hi @nmarchio! An Rssi of -54 is an indicator of some wifi interference. While it is not a high level of interference it is worth checking for distance and any interfering objects between your router and Doorbell. Some of our Doorbell modes can connect to a 2.4 Ghz and 5Ghz wifi network. Please ensure yours is connected to the 2.4 Ghz network.
As wiring can present many variables, a great test would be to remove the wires from the Doorbell and allow it to operate on battery to see if this concern persists. Feel free to let us know how this goes!
