Solid blue light on new Ring Wired Doorbell

My electrician has tried for hours to get our brand new Ring wired doorbell to work. It’s powered on but it’s just a constant blue solid light and won’t enter setup mode. Any ideas?

Hi @Docadd. Try performing a reset on your Doorbell Wired by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, the release. Once your Doorbell reboots, try placing it into Setup Mode. I hope this helps!

Just installed the Ring (wired) video door bell and the light flashes blue. I performed the 20 second hard reset and nothing happened. The blue light stays on. See the attached video

Hi @DrJimK. I don’t see any attached video. Have you setup the Doorbell Wired in the Ring app? What is the voltage rating for your transformer and have you installed the Jumper in your chime kit?
