Sold doorbell - still in my account?

I sold me doorbell and the buyer tells me it’s still registered to me. When I go into my account the doorbell isn’t there as I removed it already. What do I do?

I was given a chime that was removed from the person’s account but i am unable to use it as it insists it is still registered to previus person’s account
