Since doing the last app update to 5.56.1 (iOS) the Device Health for my wireless video doorbell says the Solar Status is “Not Connected”, however, it is clearly connected and charging the battery. We had lots of sunshine yesterday and our battery was at 84% and now it’s at 90%. My husbands phone, which was running the prior app version, said solar was connected. Once he did the app update, it refreshed to “not connected”.
Hi @rbvb13. You may see the Solar Status show as “Not Connected” when the Solar Panel is not actively receiving a charge from direct sunlight. Given that it appears to be working properly, I wouldn’t worry. If you notice any performance issues, we have some troubleshooting steps and information here for Solar Panels.
