Solar Panels won't connect to spotlight cameras

I have 2 ring cameras with solar panels. The batteries for both are not charging and the device health screen shows that the panels are not connected. The panels get plenty of sunlight, they are on my roof, it is July in Arizona and there hasn’t been a cloud in the sky for weeks so sunlight is not a problem. I have rebooted the cameras and reconnected the panels several times but they still are not connected and not charging. What is going on?

I just received a new spotlight cam plus from Amazon yesterday. Everything works fine except solar panel detection. Plugged the solar panel into another older spotlight cam and it works fine. Seems to be an issue with the camera. Very frustrating after spending a lot of time setting up the camera and hiding all the wires.

Hi neighbors. You can also try factory resetting the Camera by pressing and holding the set-up button for 20–25 seconds and reconnecting it to your wifi to see if it then detects the Solar Panel.
