I purchased a bundled stick up camera and solar panel bundle on July 11, Prime Day. I’ve hooked it all up in a full sun location. The app shows that the solar panel is connected and I have the camera set to battery power mode. The solar panel has never shown as charging in the app and I have had to manually charge the battery once already. It doesn’t seem to be working.
Hi @user53353. First, I would check the terminals on the Stick Up Cam and the Solar Panel and ensure that they are free of any dirt or debris that could be prohibiting a positive connection. Next, try wiping the surface of the Solar Panel with a soft, damp cloth to clean the panel surface. Lastly, once you’ve felt the connection “click” into the cam, try rebooting the cam. You can reboot the cam by pressing and holding the Setup Button for 20 seconds, then releasing it. Once reconnected to WiFi, monitor the device’s battery level for a few days, ensuring you are getting at least 4 hours of sunlight per day. Let me know if you notice any improvement.
