So I have a new gen 2 doorbell with solar panel connected however the battery status seems stuck at 100% after a few days surely this isn’t right?
Hi there, @Martoon! While it is unlikely that a battery remains at 100% with use and while operating in general, it is possible that you are receiving a charge. There are times when battery level might change but the Ring app has not yet refreshed or checked it’s device health. If this is the case, it should not remain that way for too long, as device health checks run periodically. For best operation of the Ring app, please ensure there is not a vpn enabled on your mobile device. Try also removing and reinstalling the Ring app, or triggering a motion event to see if this battery level changes. I hope this helps!
