it would be great if you could put a little device next to an already fitted smoke alarm that detects when an already installed smoke alarm activities and then triggers a fire alarm alert an siren on the ring alarm, i already have 5 wired smoke alarms in my home so don’t really want to replace them but a little detector that sits next to one on on top of one would be brilliant
Hi @gsl7th. The Ring Alarm Smoke and CO Listener can be used to listen for a smoke or CO alarm from an existing wired alarm in your home. It does require the Ring Alarm security system to work as it is set up through the Base Station, but will trigger the alarm and send alerts to your phone. I hope this information helps!
