I would like to silence the base station at my shop and just have ring alert me through the app when entry and motion settings go off. Is that possible?

Hey @MattyP. There is no way to disable the siren at this time other than manually in the app when the Alarm is going off. I recommend to turn on motion alerts and open/close alerts for any motion sensors and contact sensors, and then stay in the disarm mode. This will allow you to know who is coming in and out and when motion is detected, but without any chance of the Base Station siren going off. 
This, of course, is a terrible solution since your choice is receiving hundreds of notifications per day or having the siren go off. Why can’t the siren on the base station simply be turned off?
