Not sure why the shared user is getting two alert sounds. Example: shared user gets an alert at 12:00 pm then again at 5:00 pm for the 12:00 pm alert. Any one have a suggestion?
Hi @Mfrashuer. It could be a notification setting within their phone’s settings specifically. You can find some notification troubleshooting steps in our Community Post, as well as some information on Rich Notifications in our Help Center Article here. If it’s the Rich Notifications, it’s possible to receive two notifications, though they shouldn’t be delayed by that much time.
If your Shared User has Rich Notifications enabled, try having them disable them:
- On the Ring app Dashboard , tap the three-lines at the upper-left of the screen.
- Tap Device and select a device.
- Go to Device Settings.
- Tap Rich Notifications.
- Activate or deactivate Rich Notifications.
