Shared User device not showing up
I registered and added my parents to our ring doorbell so that they can access it or get notified if some on has entered our property but the doorbell and other devices don't show up in their dashboard/ account and the only time they get any notifications is if someone rings the bell only then do they get any notifications but nothing else, can anyone help?

Ok. For anyone years later needing answers. You have to go to Control center < Shared users < access all devices (the base and security system both have to be on). It should add everything g immediately

I’m probably late to the party. You have to go to (this from the main setup person) Control center<Shared users<Device Access. You have to allow access to the Alarm base station AND security system. Once you add all devices it will automatically add all other items that are connected.

UI’m not able to achieve sharing with a user using any of these tips , nothing comes up on their phone and it says user still hasn’t accepts invite on my screen. I also don’t think I have a base station , is this part of the issue ?

I also tried this and found that the new device must be installed in the original owners account. As a shared user I installed a new camera and tried to share with the owners account with the end goal of both of us having the same dashboard and most privileges. It didn't work. The new device MUST be installed on the owners account, then shared with other users, just like the other devices.
