Shanks too long on screws for Ring Doorbell 4 angle mount

I was just trying to install my Ring Doorbell 4 today on a wooden door frame and I noticed - after trying to screw it in - that the screw shank is longer than the thickness of the included angle mount. That means you can’t fix the mount securely to wood. These screws seem to be designed to use with the plugs in masonry and I can’t understand how no one tested them on wood. Perhaps I’m missing something but they at least need some washers in the kit to make up for the difference.

Thanks for the reply. This is the mount. You can only screw through the slots and it is the same thickness throughout. The screws comes from Pack C.
