Set up

Setting up a new doorbell1. I can get the ring app to talk to the doorbell but it then fails. I have checked the trouble shooting sections and notice it states about the router password but when is this password entered because I don’t remember putting my password in unless in the original setup I entered my own password by mistake. If so how do I return to the section to enter the correct password.

Hi @Pop49a, once you have the correct WiFi password, simply cancel the setup in the Ring app by tapping “cancel” or by closing the app completely. Once you reopen the app, you may begin a new setup from scratch! Since you’ll have the correct password this time, it should connect successfully.
