Set up issue-Ring video doorbell 2

Hi Everyone, I have set up a new video doorbell 2, had the video working initially, now the doorbell is flashing with a full white circle. My understanding this is the unit updating its internal software. This has been flashing for 20 hours now which seems to me something hasn’t worked. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks Chris

Hi @Scris. Try resetting the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is complete, take it through a new setup in the Ring App with the steps under Set Up a Device. It should then complete its initial firmware update within about an hour. Let me know if that does the trick! :slight_smile:
