Any help greatly appreciated.
Basically i have a sensor that appears to be “open” when the door is shut.
I have reset, reconfigured and still no joy. Install /alignment is perfect etc. Now i have a sensor showing open and no alert when the door actually opens.
Any ideas?

It looks like the magnet is not properly closing the contact’s circuit.
Have you taken them off the door to see if they work that way? It could be something in the door (nail or metal) that is preventing the magnet from moving properly.
My sensor was on a nail, I moved it and it worked properly. You would think that Ring would tell you to not mount it over a nail in their instructions.
