We have a secondary door set up, and Ring registers when it opens and closes, but when armed the system does not trigger the alarm. This is a major concern. Does anyone know why? It is not on bypass for the system, so it should trigger alarm. Is there another setting we need to configure?
Hi @damanriq! I recommend checking out your Alarm mode settings. These mode settings will allow you to include which sensors will arm with which mode. Once this Sensor is confirmed as added to your modes, please also check that particular Contact Sensor’s configuration in the Contact Sensor device settings page, as it is possible that it was setup as a secondary entry way rather than a main one.
