We have 4 codes (and users) for ring that also open the smart lock. Within the last 48 hours, the 3 access only members have been disabled from ring (switch shows off in the app). My admin access was still enabled. After I enabled the users again, they are now able to open the door, but it is puzzling. There is no log of their permission being revoked. I didn’t do it and I’m the only admin. The lock has been working flawlessly for a long time. My concern is that if it happens again, someone may be locked out. Any feedback?
Hi @user22048. Only the Owner of the Ring account can change the Access Codes for Shared Users in the Ring app. I suggest taking note of the date and time that this happened and contact our support team. They be able to deep dive into this and determine what happened. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here. If you are outside of the US, please visit here to see how to contact support. Feel free to let us know what our support team was able to find.
