I have a Schlage connect deadbolt connected to my ring alarm system. I am wondering if I should also use a contact sensor on my front door where my smart lock is? I’m just unsure what to do. My ring system is all controlled by my Alexa show as well.
Good question, @Tiger11! We see many neighbors who have smart locks, also use a contact sensor on the door. This will depend on your preference and the traffic a particular entryways sees. In any case, the Contact Sensor will not interfere with the operation of your smart lock.
