This may sound daft but is there anyway of running the base from off a 12v battery?
I’m moving from my flat into van-life but there no good alarms they link to cameras and send you notifications if triggered/movement.

Hi @Bigwill. The Ring Alarm Security System isn’t designed to work for a vehicle, such as a van. The Base Station is designed to be plugged into a standard power outlet, so I can’t say for certain if plugging it into a battery would provide sufficient power.

I think ring should design an alarms/camera system for RV/campervan/caravan to run on a 12v system.
I will be using my alarm and cameras in my van and will just use my inverter to power the base unit instead.
