Ring Wired Stickup Indoor Cam will sometimes not record motion

I have two of the most recent wired Stickup Indoor Cameras that I put up about a month ago (to go with three battery stickup cameras) and have the camera set to capture motion under the highest sensitivity but without alerts. I have seen intermittent times when the camera is not showing the blue light that turns on when motion is noted and then there is no corresponding motion noted. There was no video recorded when I look at the history. I have tried unplugging the camera a few times, but that does not do anything (at least not consistently). I can see the image captures in terms of history but there is no motion-based video recorded. I have double-checked and made sure the cover is fully rotated to allow for image capture. I have also tried testing the camera in full daylight vs night and I still cannot get consistent video capture. My other camera also had a video consistency issue but seems to fine now. I have never had this issue with my battery stickup cameras. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi @SFMetalhead. Motion detection issues are typically resolved by adjusting the settings to find what works best for your home. Try reviewing your Motion Zones and making sure they encompass the areas you want to be notified about motion in. Also ensure you do not have motion detection turned off within the Modes settings. One more thing to be aware of is the wifi signal. A weak or unstable signal can impact your Indoor Cam’s ability to reliably detect and alert you to motion. You can check the signal strength on the Device Health page.
