Is it possible to connect a ring doorbell to 3 wires instead of 2?

Hi @user70602. The Ring Doorbell 3 only has 2 terminals on the back of the device, so I'm unsure where a third wire would connect. Additionally, there is only the need for 2 wires, power in and power out.
