I have a ring video doorbell 2020 release which is not connected to power. It works on the battery alone and I have to recharge it. I have recharged the battery twice by unmounting the doorbell and connecting to the USB port on the back of the doorbell.
The battery does not recharge this time. It shows 3% power today.
How do I recharge the battery?

Please ensure there is not debris in the charge port and that the USB is plugged into an outlet or port providing power. There are times where your battery percentage might not update right away in the Ring app. Triggering an event or waiting several moments should allow it time to update it’s battery level in the Ring app. I hope this helps!
