Ring Video Doorbell 2 suddenly not showing hard wired/doesn't trickle charge

My Ring Video Doorbell 2 has been hard wired to the doorbell wires and has always shown up as “hard wired”. Last week it suddenly changed from hard wired to battery in the dashboard, and now the battery is draining very quickly. I ordered a new Ring battery thinking the old one had finally given up the ghost but the new battery is also draining, does not seem to be trickle charging. Checked the voltage on the wiring and all is good there.

Hi @matneym. If you have already verified there is power at the wires, try factory resetting your Doorbell to see if it helps. To factory reset your Doorbell, press and hold the setup button on it for 20–25 seconds, then reconnect it to your wifi.
