Recently a burglar attempted to break into my home in our backyard where we have the video camera with motion protector . I realized their is a major weakness to the camera First I did not receive an alert and Second there is no speaker in the camera which would be useful to ward off any would be burglars. I feel this needs to be be incorporated in these devises
Hey @EG427. When you look back at the event history, do you see the recording of this event? With a video but no notification, you may want to remove the Ring app from your phone, reboot your phone (turn it off/on) and then reinstall the Ring app. This will help refresh the notifications to make sure you get them for future. In regards to your speaker concern, all of our Camera and Doorbell devices have 2-Way Talk when you access a Live View event. If you’re having a concern with the 2-Way Talk and your speaker not working, it would be best to reach out to our support team here in order to get this addressed.
