I am having an issue where the recordings are mostly color but every once in a while, they will be in black and white. Only seems to happen with nighttime recordings. I had one switch from color to black and white during the event. Why is this happening, and what can I do to fix it?
Hi @FLtoGA. That would be the night vision, which will activate when it’s dark enough outside. This is so you can more clearly see what’s happening in low-light situations, such as at night. Select Ring Doorbell and Camera models have the option for color night vision, though this feature is not on every device. I hope this helps answer your question.
