Ring spotlight cam has a blue dot on screen when watching video playback

I get a blue dot sometimes on video playback.
Has anyone else had this ?

Hi there, @Collywobbles1st! If you have not already, try checking the lens for anything that would cause something like this to appear in video. As you mentioned this only happening sometimes, it may be an indicator of something, especially if it seems to only be applied to video recordings. Feel free to include an image for further suggestions, or check the type of event it is to see if it is different than others. I hope this helps!

It only applies when it is sunny. I have checked back through history and it never used to do it but always doing it now when sunny.

Attached screen shot but not sure if it worked

Thanks for the example! This may very well be due to the sun at a certain angle, or any lighting hitting that area right. The root cause might be debris, condensation, or a blemish on the lens. If cleaning or inspecting the lens closely does not show an obvious cause for this, try power cycling the Camera. This can be completed by simply powering down the Camera, and powering it back on.
