Ring spotlight cam -battery - not powering on

hi all
My spotlight camera battery that is also hooked up to the solar connection is not powering on. Usually the solar panel fails to keep everything powered up (chronic issue) and the batteries keep it going. I lost connection last month and kept forgetting to fix it. So I put in the new batteries after charging them and now it will not power on. Pressing the setup for 20 seconds does nothing. The light does not turn on either.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
