Ring Smoke Alarm listener; during testing I do not get a prompt to activate the alarm; is the listener defective?

    Hi @Buttauh. After initiating the Smoke & CO Listener test, you'll need to tap the button on the side of the Listener to put it into test mode. Next, you'll need to manually activate the alarm on your smoke & CO detector so that the Listener can hear and detect the sound.
