Ring smart responses stopped working

Hello, I have a Battery doorbell and auto answers used to work fine. But suddenly it stopped working. I did not change anything. How to get auto answers working again?

@alain.lankers I assume you’re talking about the smart responses AKA quick replies? If so mine are the same on both my doorbells which immediately suggested to me there was an issue with the Ring systems somewhere, I have contacted Ring about it and the NSE team have escalated the matter

Thanks for sharing. Yes I am talking about smart responses. So its on then end of Ring that something is wrong now and not on ours end.

I have an iPhone XS, Battery doorbell plus and versin 5.70.0 of the Ring app.

Today it suddenly worked again. I did not change anything. How does this happen?

We have not seen any other reports of issues with the Quick Replies feature, so I’d suggest following up with our support team if you notice it happening again. @alain.lankers do you use Alexa devices such as dots or shows and have them tell you when someone is at the door?
