I have a ring alarm + smart lighting system and noticed a few server addresses trying to communicate with devices behind my router’s firewall and they were:
prd-hapi-us.prd.rings.solutions
prdw-hub-us.prd.rings.solutions
Are these servers ring servers and are they needed? Thanks.
Hey @RngCstmr. I checked with my teams and they have ensure me that these server addresses are needed! They’re needed as they are used to ensure the Ring Alarm’s connectivity stable and on-going. Please ensure you are not blocking these and letting them pass through. Hope this helps.
