I have had a ring doorbell for 18month now, I have recently had a security cam in the kitchen (need to keep an eye on the dog). With the doorbell I was already on the protect basic plan, can I add the security camera to the plan or do I need to be on the protect plus plan? I have already signed up for the protect plus plan so can I get rid of one of the plans?
Hi @Hayley6611. The Ring Protect Basic plan covers one Ring Doorbell or Security Camera, while the Ring Protect Plus plan covers all Ring Doorbells and Security Cameras at the same location. If you’ve already subscribed to the Plus plan, you can cancel your original Basic plan and receive a prorated refund for the unused time. I hope this helps!
