Ring Pro won’t chime inside anymore
hardwired-battery-video-doorbell
I have had my ring pro for less than a year. A couple of months ago I had an issue and the technician sent me a new transformer that solved the low battery issue. However, I now have another issue. My doorbell chime is no longer going off when someone rings the doorbell. All of settings in the app are enabled and the notifications get sent to my phone. The chime just simply isn’t going off. Any suggestions or solutions??

Hi @SylviaB. In addition to checking out [Marleys Hardwiring Checklist](https://community.ring.com/t/hardwiring-checklist-video-doorbell-pro/37520), I would ensure you Chime Kit is compatible and that your Transformer is outputting the right voltage. If you have a Chime Kit that is incompatible, it could work for sometime and then just stop for no apparent reason. The same is true for the doorbell transformer. If you've ensured that both are compatible, but this is still happening, you can reach out to our support team to take a closer look. When contacting support, it helps to have a picture of your Chime kit internals as well as your transformer. This will help them identify any potential issues. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support.
