Just purchased a Ring Pro. My door is shaded by an overhang and the background is bright. Need a way to adjust the camera brightness for the foreground detail e.g. someone’s face.

Whenever bright environmental lighting or exposure of sunlight exists, testing out different angles or even shading solutions can help. In some cases the environment might simply be too bright, dark, or have an abrupt exposure to lighting differences. See which parts of the day this occurs most to further understand how your Video Doorbell will adjust to the area. In some cases, mounting your Ring device elsewhere is the best way to help lens adjustment.
