Ring Pro 2 wired signal weak

My ring door bell has a Pro chime but it is still getting a weak signal. I have a BT Hub. Can I add a Hub wifi extender disc between the Chime Pro and the door bell to help the signal strenghth ? I have no idea about these things. Thankyou :grinning:

Hi @Mags1. Have you tried using the Chime Pro Placement Test to locate the most optimal position for the Chime Pro? If not, I’d recommend trying this first, as it’s typically recommended for the Chime Pro to be placed at around a halfway point between the Ring Doorbell and your wifi router. If the Chime Pro isn’t receiving a good signal, it won’t extend a good signal to the Doorbell either, so the placement is important to consider.

Hi Thankyou for your reply. Yes, this is already the case …my chime Pro is receiving a strong signal and it is placed half way between the doorbell and my BT Hub. :grinning:

@Mags1 Then I would recommend double checking that your Doorbell is properly connected to the Chime Pro. You can find steps on linking your Doorbell to the Chime Pro’s network directly here.
