Ring Pro 2 Died after 20 minutes

My first Ring Pro worked great for about a year. It became unresponsive and I received a replacement Ring Pro 2, which I installed this morning. It was online for about 20 minutes and then became unresponsive. Ring customer support suggested that I have an electrician check my wiring. I can hear a hum from the device and get a chime when I press the button. It’s otherwise dead. I will have the wiring checked, but if that’s not the issue I don’t see how I can continue to use a Ring product. I have four other Ring cameras (all wired) that have worked well without any issues.
