Ring Indoor Camera & White Noise Machine Audio Issues

We just got a Ring Indoor camera for the baby’s room. We also have a Hatch white noise sound machine. We like to keep the video of the crib open on our Echo Show so we can hear when the baby is crying, etc.

However, the sound is choppy and it sounds like it cuts in and out which is a bit of an annoyance to have on constantly while we are working. It sounds like when a radio station cuts in and out.

It seems that the white noise machine is messing with the mic on the camera because it’s constantly picking up a sound and is having trouble processing it? It’s a constant sound so I’m not sure why there would be issues. We had the Amazon cloud cam before this and it was almost as if it tuned the white noise out.

Is there a way to reduce the sensitivy of the mic so that it doesn’t pick up the quiet sounds? I can’t really move the camera or Hatch from their spots. Just curious! Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi @kk_waters. There is not a way to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone. The only option is to completely shut off the recording of the microphone.
