I have the Ring Video Doorbell 2. It is not hard-wired. It was working fine for 10 months. Last time I charged the battery fully and put it back in it came back on fine, but then told me the battery needed charging about a week later. I charged the battery back up to full, but this time I’m getting no response at all from the Ring.
Hi @fantasygeek317! It sounds like the Doorbell is not powering up during your last attempt at charging the batter. Just to ensure the battery is charged, it is best to charge for several hours using the USB and a standard outlet. I recommend also checking the battery compartment for any debris. If the battery is securely inserted and the Doorbell still does not power on, please perform a reset by holding the Doorbell setup button for 20 seconds. Next, please complete a setup in the Ring app. I hope this helps!
