Ring Gen 2 plug not working to power the outdoor ring siren. Any ideas?

I have an outdoor ring siren and have connected this to the ring Gen 2 power adaptor but it’s not registering that it’s connected to the power. The wires can be either way round according to the instructions with the plug. Any ideas?

Solved it by removing the ring outdoor siren and re installing it

I will try your solution but no so convenient 14ft up a wall!

I’m having the same problem with 3 sirens all connected up but showing that there’s no power
