Hi @victoria1234. I personally think that option 2 would be the ideal location. I say this because with the door opening and closing often, over time, it may cause the Doorbell to become loose and fall. Also, if for some reason the door is left ajar, your view will not be constant as opposed to being stationary on the wall. I hope this helps!
