Ring flood light showing not connected on app

Hello. For two days now I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue where my ring floodlight is showing as not connected to wifi on my app. But when it detects motion it seems to send that info to the app fine despite it saying not connected to wifi. The only thing I can’t seem to do is view the live feed because its saying its “not connected to wifi.”

I went outside and pushed the service button on top of the camera but nothing happened. I also have a ring alarm, ring doorbell 2 and 2 spotlight cams that are positioned further away from my mesh wifi points than the flood light but they’re all working fine. Its just the flood light giving me issues. Any ideas?

Hi @Oppa. I’d first recommend making sure your Ring App and your phone’s OS are fully up to date. After that, you can try reconnecting the Floodlight Cam to wifi using the steps in the Ring App, or you can even perform a full reset and then set it back up after that. To reset the Camera, you’ll need to hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, walk through a new setup of the Floodlight Cam using the steps under Set Up a Device. This should correct the problem of it not showing that it’s connected to wifi.
